One of my favorite childhood memories was going shopping every Good Friday for a new easter outfit. Times were certainly simpler then.

House Special

I went out to dinner recently at an "authentic Mexican restaurant" and was surprised by what they listed as their "House Special." Any guesses? Grilled chicken tenders with French Fries. I am so serious! It was so funny, I am almost positive I laughed out loud.

Red Hair with a Curl

As I was flipping channels the other night I ran across a commercial for the ABC Family series The Secret Life of an American Teenager. I couldn't believe my eyes, there she was, my childhood sweetheart, although she doesn't have curls anymore and she isn't near as cute. Molly Ringwald! It doesn't matter, when I close my eyes I still see her as I did all those years ago. Perfection. In honor of Molly, I dedicate this SOTD.
